The bargaining teams met today and the District passed a package proposal that included the following:
1. Four furlough days AND
2. A cap on health benefits AND
3. Suspend class size Article 9 for 2011-12 school year
In exchange for these items, the District proposed reducing after school meetings to two per month and allowing you to use more of your own sick time for personal business. These two were part of ACE’s proposal given to the District in June.

personal business.
3. All members who are eligible for a 5 year evaluation will get one

The District will have a counter proposal at the next meeting.
